Author's Note: I think This piece is really good and will do good for conflict resolution too.
Life’s
Mysteries
In the book Touching Spirit Bear theirs this
boy named Cole and he has a terrible life. Cole is this terrible snotty
teenager always asking for trouble. He does have some bad parents though. His
mom is a major alcoholic and his dad abuses him which I think is horrible. But
this time he went over the line. He brutally beat a kid up on the school side
walk. Which got him to the island.
Therefore he has to stay there and face his
consequences for a whole year. The main conflict in this book is Cole fighting
himself. He has to overcome his anger. He has a terrible time controlling his
anger. That’s why he brutally hurt that kid. And why I think Cole had anger
problems was because of his parents treating him so bad.
The Climax in this book is Peter tries to fight Cole
but Cole doesn’t fight back at all. Which I thought was really shocking because
Cole would usually fight back. But this time he didn’t and backed off. And I
thought that was really brave and amazing because it shows that he does want to
change. And it shows that he doesn't want to be that snotty teenager anymore
that he used to be.
For the resolution in this book Its how Cole
controls his anger. Cole finally figures out how to control his anger. And
becomes this nice thoughtful young teenager he always wanted to be. I thought
it was great that he overcame that beast inside him and actually became a
caring loving person.
